A 21-year-old Readsboro man died in a New Hampshire hospital making him the third auto fatality in weekend Bennington area crashes. Victims were Marcel Gosselin age about 21, Blondin Stewart age 16, and Richard Rapp a Middlebury College sports staffer. Injured were Frank Davidson 27, Leslie Wadigan, William Dyson 21, and Thomas Giddings 21. Gosselin and Davidson died after a Mainline Fence Co truck left Vermont near Lake Whitingham dam, racing through guard rails and dropping 30 feet onto the dam wall. Police said driver identity pending.
