Photographs by Lester Nichols found by Oppenheimer in Bennington
Oppenheimer of the Lloyd Studio in Bennington bought glass negatives from Lester H. Nichols' estate and discovered rare Bennington photos on the Cycle Poco No. 2. The camera, made by Rochester Camera and Supply Co. in 1896, used glass plates and a unicorn shutter. A Catamount Monument recall notes a bronze replica after a tufted tail was removed by locals.
