Union Carbide workers begin overtime duty
Seventy three production workers at Union Carbide Consumer Products Division Bennington plant start a weeks long overtime run. They will work 48 hours per week across two shifts to meet revised battery sales estimates. The overtime may last about twelve weeks with extra hours daily and Saturdays.
