Houston Cousins Captured One Of Jail-Breaking Trio Still Free
Houston cousins were recaptured after a six day flight from officers by foot and freight train. Bob Bongldson aged 18 and Gene Donaldson 20 along with Freeman Canada 17 fled Robertson County Jail last Friday. They hid in the Franklin area then stole a shotgun ammunition and food before moving toward piney woods. Gene Donaldson fractured a knee fleeing a drain in a ditch and was treated at Gress County Memorial Hospital. Bob Donaldson surrendered after his mother contacted Sheriff Reeves. Donaldson led officers to Gene and said Canada’s destination was unknown.
