London AP A liberalized British divorce bill known as Casanova's Charter passed its final major hurdle as the House of Lords approved in principle 122 to 4. The plan, the first since 1937, would base divorce on irretrievable breakdown with two or five year separations. A companion bill to protect wives financially is anticipated.
