Jurors May Donate Jury Pay to 100 Club in Houston
Our view notes that jurors and prospective jurors in Harris County can now donate their pay to The 100 Club, aiding families of fallen or disabled firefighters and police. The club provides mortgage relief and college support, with the District Clerk’s Office approving the donation option. The Dowling family benefited from the club after Capt. Bill Dowling’s rescue during the Southwest Inn fire.
