Toll road bid eyed as Bath Brunswick link eyed

A group proposes privately funding and tolling a new King Highway between Bath and Brunswick. They seek a Legislature charter to build the shorter route, claiming strong public demand for a faster, well surfaced road. The idea follows earlier state plans to resurface the current highway and would cost about 50 000 per mile, with total bets around 200 000.
