Car Backed Into Kennebec River Near Grove
Merle Harmon of Minott's Grove escaped serious injury when his Ford backed down a river bank into the Kennebec at the Grove. The car submerged up to the windshield before Harmon opened the door and escaped. A wrecker from Andrew Rice's garage pulled the vehicle from the water. Harry A.
