Toll Road Plan Between Bath and Brunswick Becomes Debate
The proposed Bath to Brunswick toll road by private parties faces practicality questions. Past experience with King's toll turnpike shows limited profit due to parallel shun-pike and active free competition. Locals favor aligning with the old route, but tolls seem unlikely while an alternate Brunswick artery exists. The Atlantic Highway project between Bath and Brunswick is expected to proceed eventually.
