Girl Scout Community Council Reports Yearly Activities
At a meeting held at 977 High Street the Girl Scout Community council reviewed activities and expenditures. The group organized three troops and two brownie packs, sent two girls to Pine Tree camp in Plymouth New Hampshire, and aided eight scouts in attending camp. A leadership training course led by Edith Cabot of Providence is planned for November. Gratitude was expressed to leaders and helpers, and scouts will sell official blotters to fund meeting-place costs in the Legion building.

Old Time Shipwright Dies After Illness in Bath
Edriel B. Little, 55, of 26 Turner's Court, Bath, died Thursday morning after nearly two weeks of illness. A ship carpenter with Bath yards, he aided in the Constitution reconstruction under Lieut. John A. Lord U.S.N. (Ret.) and worked at Charlestown Navy Yard. Born September 2 1879 in Bremen, he lived in Bath 23 years. Survived by wife Carrie T. Little. sons James E. and Allen B. Little. daughters Thelma Staples and Lillian Spare. sisters Caroline Little and Mrs Samuel Webber. brothers Joel, William, Pied, Ernest, and Harry. grandchildren Constance and Richard Staples.
