Gardiner will case settled out of court
The Clinton C. Gardiner will case is settled out of court with terms not public. The executrix and residuary legatee Mrs. Margaret Herfel reportedly finds the settlement entirely satisfactory. The case originated after a will left most of the estate to Herfel, with one dollar to heir Sadie Bunker. The probate court proceedings and appeals culminated in a September law court ruling sustaining the exception. Proceedings will conclude as Herfel files her probate account.
