Dedication date cannot be changed for armory ball
Capt. Stickney of Battery H explains that the armory’s formal dedication is set for April 11 with Governor Barrows and dignitaries invited. A Saturday ball would conflict with the planned dedication entertainment, so the unit cannot grant use of the building then. The Fifth Infantry from Fort Williams will be invited to use the armory facilities during Army Day events.
