Tax Exemption Critique From Farm Mortgage Bankers Meet
At the Farm Mortgage Bankers Association convention it is shown that about 30 billion dollars in tax exempt securities from United States, state and municipal issues escape income taxation. The growth of tax free issues from 400 million in 1912 to nearly 2 billion this year is criticized as wealth flowing to officials rather than producers, with demands for equal taxation.
