Mrs. Bessie Leavitt entertained at a New Year’s dinner at the Markham House honoring her husband. Guests included Miss Myrna May and H. E. Wise.
The Bohemian club held a dance last Tuesday night at the library to usher in the new year. All attendees report a most enjoyable evening and festive mood as the old year was danced out.
The Basin band will resume practice next Monday night and a lunch will be served at the band room after practice. All members are urged to attend. From January 2 1919 the City Treasurer office in Basin will be open 2 to 5 pm for business. Florence G Kirby Treas
