Elmer Brooks a Spence section foreman was killed last Friday night in Greybull when a train struck him cutting off the upper portion of his body. Authorities held an inquest stating no evidence of foul play though marks suggested possible questions. Coroner Dr M H Smith and County Attorney Hartigan conducted the inquiry Saturday morning.

Fire at Grimes Home Quickly Contained
Yesterday morning a fire alarm was sent from the Jim Grimes residence in the southwest. Fireman Pauley reports the blaze was out upon arrival as Mrs. Grimes attached a garden hose to a basement connection and kept the fire under control. Damage was slight.
