California budget requests for seven teachers colleges and two special schools
A. R. Heron submits a four million six hundred ten thousand two hundred twenty eight dollar budget to Governor Richardson for the coming biennium. Highlights include increases for the deaf and blind school at Berkeley to 750,921 and for California Poly at San Luis Obispo to 446,001. Each teachers college shows sizable boosts from prior appropriations with San Francisco leading at 693,280 and Santa Barbara at 514,039.
