Santa Fe Introduces New Overnight California Schedules
The Santa Fe issued a March 4 timetable updating overland passenger routes from Los Angeles to Chicago and the West. The Chief will run L A to Chicago in 61.25 hours, with trimmed time. new California Limited and Second California Limited trains debut Nos. 23 and 24, and many westbound and intermediate connections adjust. The changes expand daily through trains to Kansas City and Chicago, with detailed east and westbound departures and arrivals at Barstow and other hubs.
