The Los Angeles Philharmonic will be broadcast on KFI March 12 and 19 at 8 30 p m. Lloyd Johnson of Long Beach, once of this district, competes in a trans continental foot race. Local car inspector I W. W. Melton reported the Visalia sheriff recovered his Ford stolen last week. A full set of burglar tools was found in the car. The two men found riding in the vehicle are jailed in Visalia awaiting trial.

The deluxe shipment totals about 2,160,000 candy bars weighing 360,000 pounds and heads to Denver Salt Lake City Portland Seattle San Francisco and Los Angeles. If laid end to end the bars would stretch over 120 miles.
