Dining Force Coed Restrictions End Barnard Trial
Barnard ends the two month coed dining trial this Friday. Columbia men may still eat at Barnard unescorted but Barnard meal cards will not be valid for Columbia cafeterias Johnny Hall or the Lion's Den. Dorm Exec president Janet Carlson and Miss Gagson cite ongoing losses as Barnard residents pay less than the transfer charge to Columbia. Adjustments reduced hours and menu options but deficits persist, risking a further board hike next year as Barnard faces a net deficit of about 1,653 dollars and overall charges to Barnard totaling roughly 4,034 dollars with added cash service credits.
