Jacqueline Barrett Named Mascot at CBS Chapter Ceremony
Jacqueline Lee Barrett, born June 9 1950, will be named the official mascot for the Travis Chapter No. 472 CBS in a brief ceremony Thursday at 7 45 p m at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. She is the daughter of Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs Gordon Barrett. Members of the order are invited to attend.

Peggy Ann Drumb Weds Albert G. Buzan in Taylor
Miss Peggy Ann Drumb and Albert G. Buzan were married in a single ring ceremony at St Marys Church Taylor officiated by Rev J J Polansky. The bride daughter of Mrs Lucille Simkins and Elmo Crumb and the groom son of Mrs Mike Buzan and the late Mr Buzan. The ceremony featured white gladioli palms and white tapers with organ music. The couple plans to live in Taylor where the groom works at Manns Plumbing and Electric Service.

Georgetown Teens Hold Bastrop Park Retreat
Twenty five members of the Tuesday Night Supper Club spent three days at Bastrop State Park from Monday to Wednesday.
