Wintram J. Hossr, Esq. will act as agent for the New York Mirror and receive subscriptions for the work. The publication appears weekly on Saturdays in a neat style at five dollars per year. Specimens are available at Henry's Book Store and the prospectus is on the outside of the city paper.
Our friend Mr Hant has closed his theatrical campaign at Columbus and travels north with a small company. The Columbus Herald reports an eight week total of 5000 dollars, a sizable sum for a city of under 4000 residents. The Creek War influx and theatergoers helped, while soldiers aided by attending performances.
The Special Committee reports twenty four hours totals of cholera cases in Charleston with race breakdowns and deaths. On Sept twelfth 30 cases included 9 whites and 21 blacks with 5 deaths. the prior day 10 cases with 2 deaths. another day 18 cases with 2 whites and 16 blacks or colored, 2 deaths.
Extract of a speech delivered before the State Rights Association at Jacksonborough on July 4 1836 by Ed Ward J Black Esq praising liberty and revolutionary heroes, denouncing abolitionists, defending state rights, and urging Union loyalty against Northern abolitionist pressure.
At a Burke State Rights Association gathering in Waynesborough on September 8, resolutions were passed against Martin Van Buren's presidential bid and Richard Johnson's vice presidency. They support the anti Van Buren Electoral Ticket and commend J. Howann and Gen. Tomas Giascoex for their actions. The meeting urged publication in state papers.

Married on the 31st by the Rev Van Vleck at their uncle Thomas C. Butler's residence. Dr. J W Fireman Wanker of Mobile Alabama weds Miss Buzanera J Jones of Austa Georgia, daughter of the late Sedborn Jones Esq. The notice appears in the Commercial Advertiser.
DIED On Thursday 1st inst Joan W Axpenson the only son of Samuel and Mary Ann Anderson aged 12 months in Aberdeen district obituary records show a young child’s death with parental names and age.
