Monument Unveiled at King's Mountain in Tennessee
Bristol Tennessee January 14. The monument by the Daughters of the American Revolution to men from the King's Mountain area was dedicated at Sycamore Shoals. Senator Bob Taylor gave the dedication address. The triangular gray Tennessee marble monument marks the site where the treaty with the Cherokees, known as the Transylvania treaty, was negotiated. Built by three DAR chapters Sycamore Boots John Sevier and Bennie Kate Chapter Knoxville.
