Noted Georgia tenor to headline benefit for Jacksonville sufferers
Mr Ellisen Van Hoose Wil ling for Jacksonville Sufferers FLANTA'S mustc loving people will A have the pleasure of hearing in con cort the noted young Georgia tenor, Bison Van Hoose, under the au spicea of the Atlanta Daughters of the Revolution, will be the ptor feature of a brilliant musical programme next Monday evening in the Kimball house ballroom. The concert will be for the benefit of the Jacksonville sufferers and is given by the Daughters of the American Revolution of Georgia in response to an appeal for aid made to them by Mrs Dennis Eagan, state regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution of Florida. The Atlanta chapter will unite in making the occasion brilliant and have been fortunate in securing as their soloist Mr Van Hoose. Although he had determined to rest during his short vacation from his professional duties, it was his desire to assist the Jacksonville sufferers and prove his interest by lending his voice to the programme. Other participants include Mrs WS Yeates, Mr and Mrs Sam Burbank and other Atlanta artists. Professor Robert Emory Park, state regent of Georgia Daughters, urged Atlanta Daughters to support Mrs Eagan in Florida in her relief work. The piece concludes noting the season’s philanthropic calls have fatigued the public.
