The people of Hull voted 156 to 36 against opening barrooms after incorporation. Prohibitionists prevailed, ensuring Grove Hill district towns, including Hull, will have no barrooms under the local law and church or school housing protections.

Gainesville Midland Railway Company to Savannah Trust Company of Savannah secures bonds issued to retire earlier issues of 175000 and 50000 with 400000 set aside to extend the road from Jefferson to Athens widen the gauge Gainesville to Athens and Belmont to Monroe for improvements. Remaining speed to extend north to Dahlonega or connect with A K and N if desired. Also an ad for Chamberlains Stomach and Liver Tablets and a quip about vodka from Russian revolutionists.
