Tulsa police shooting victim Crutcher had troubled past and turn to faith

Terence Crutcher, a Tulsa man shot dead by Officer Betty Shelby, had prior arrests including a 2007 drug-trafficking conviction and a 2012 intoxication case. Neighbors describe a churchgoing father who shared meals, gospel singing, and a life turning toward good. Family attorney says Crutcher was not a criminal and warrants no justification for the shooting.

The Environmental Review Appeals Commission will hear Albany’s appeal of the EPA permit on Feb. 1, 2017.
