Rain Too Little Too Late for Farmers Crops
Rain last night freshened fields but proved too scant and ill timed to aid late crops, pastures, or water supplies. Farmers cite potential minor help for late corn and apples may grow more, while potatoes may knot or shorten grading if growth resumes. Repairs proceed at White's Mill dam and power plant after flood damage with a new water wheel planned.
