Woman's Club Begins Fall Activities in Point Pleasant
Senior Woman's Club started fall activities with a special meeting at the Presbyterian Church to ballot on a large new member class. Fifty-one women were elected, bringing total membership to over 200, with delegates named for the Southwestern Conference of Women's Clubs in Huntington on Oct. 6 and the first regular meeting slated for Oct. 12 featuring a reception and talent from the Men's Inco Chorus and humorist Max Sauter.

Gallipolis 425 4 H Club projects will wrap up this month as 225 boys and about 200 girls are judged by County Agent Everett G. Royer and Mrs. James B. Richards. Certificates, ribbons, and an extra award will be awarded at each club’s achievement day. Most programs run in November with some during Farmers Institutes Grange meetings and a Parent-Teacher gathering.
