An affidavit charges J Berman with first degree murder in the death of Alvin A Brunner traveling jewelry auctioneer. Detectives Gaulke and Kaffits say circumstantial evidence links the shooting at Merz jewelry store to placing Brunner’s body in a barrel tied to his car and driven to Cincinnati.
