Detroit November 27 The Rev Father Charles E Coughlin announced that well over 200000 applications for membership in his National Union for Social Justice have been received with thousands of letters still unopened He described developments in Congress including two blocs the American Liberty League and the National League for Social Justice and said they aim to show what the people think about their representatives
Ohio relief officials report that a little over ten cents of every relief dollar goes to administration. The commission recorded total outlays of 790 556 dollars with 524 174 dollars spent on administration and obligations incurred.
In Detroit on November 27, John Nixon 38 former Y M C A secretary in Canton and Louis Raetz 36 were jailed for armed robbery of Dr. Don Strohschein on October 15. Nixon claimed job loss came after a long doctor’s wait, saying the delay motivated the plan for revenge.
