Death of Mrs Wills Hill in Athens at 55
The death of Mrs. Wills Hill, a respected colored woman, occurred Friday forenoon after a brief illness or paralysis. She lived on State Street in Athens and was 55. Funeral services were Sunday afternoon at her late home and were largely attended. She leaves a husband and four children.

Athens Board of Health Ends Meeting With Sanitary Progress
The Athens board of health met in the mayor's office to review town sanitation. A Sunnyside improvement was approved for prompt work and sewer connections on State Street near Morris Avenue were discussed to prevent a dangerous condition in summer. Dr. J. B. Higgins was reelected health officer. W. A. Hibard resigned as clerk and A. W. Ollom was appointed to fill the vacancy. O Birness was reappointed to the board. The health board operates at about $125 annually.
