Crap Shooters Nipped After Box Car Heist
Three men nicknamed Little Joe George Scott Dick Jesse West and Big Wm Miller were arrested Tuesday morning on a charge of pulling off seven box cars in the railway yards. They appeared before Mayor Logan, pleaded not guilty, but were found guilty and fined ten dollars plus costs.

A carrier pigeon was discovered in the city hall clock tower by Clay McLean while winding the clock. The bird wore a silver band marked G. A. 48417 on one leg. McLean is caring for it for a few days before releasing it in hopes it returns to its owner.
