Six Athens County Juniors Named for Buckeye Boys State
Six Athens County high school juniors were chosen by their schools to attend the American Legion Buckeye Boys State June 10 18. Delegates include Alan Fulks Kenneth DeVeau Denver Lightner Benjamin Randolph Bill Brown Jr and Greg Pratt. They will study government at Ohio University West Green dormitories with sponsor funding from local civic groups.

Ames-Bern has valedictorian and salutatorian named
Ames-Bern High School selects Patsy Antle daughter of Darrell and Mrs Antle Glouster Route 1 as valedictorian and Donna Weaver daughter of Orvill and Mrs Weaver Sharpsburg as salutatorian for the May 23 graduation.
