Man charged in arson case from The Plains arrest
Kenny F. Barnhart, 59, arrested on one count each of aggravated arson and breaking and entering in connection with a vacant house fire at 100 North Plains Road on March 11. Investigators from the Athens County Sheriff’s Office and State Fire Marshal’s Office conducted a lengthy probe leading to the arrest. Barnhart is jailed and due to be arraigned Thursday.
