Amron sues 3M over Post-it Note inventor claim
Alan Amron of Florida, holder of 40 patents, says he invented the Press on Memo in 1973, a year before 3M developed the Post-it Note. He seeks 400 million dollars and acknowledgment of his role, while 3M defends that Fry and Silver created the product long after his idea. The case follows a prior settlement and a mediation order with no trial date yet.
