New Rembrandt discovery at TEFAF Maastricht reveal
At TEFAF Maastricht a painting labeled Continental School and dated 19th century was reattributed to Rembrandt dating 1624 25 after restoration. French dealers Gautier and Talabardon had paid just over 1 million dollars at a New Jersey auction following a phone bid. Dutch art expert Prof Christopher Brown calls it the early Rembrandt works.
