Four year old shoots mother in pickup in gun rights case
Jamie Gill 31 of Jacksonville shot in the back while traveling in a pickup in Putnam County. Investigators pursue how the child accessed the weapon a 45 caliber handgun while Gill reportedly advocated gun rights on a Facebook page branded Jamie Gill for Gun Sense. Florida law makes it a misdemeanor to store a loaded gun where a child can reach it. The child was unharmed and is with relatives. Gill stable at hospital. Authorities and the Department of Children and Families probe possible charges and the page has been removed.
