A five year old boy named Hail, son of W F Brooks of the Born Hotel, was struck by a heavy dray driven by Mr Cline on Dean Avenue around 3 PM. The boy suffered a broken thigh and a head wound but is expected to recover, while the driver expressed sorrow and offered to contribute to expenses.
