Saloonist Gets the Very Limit
Nelsonville July 2 a week ago Sunday Mayor Sharp ordered the saloons closed on the Sabbath. John Smith of the Johnson and Smith saloon was found open, pleaded guilty, and fined 100 dollars plus costs total 109.35 the limit for such offense. The city reports a quiet day with no disturbances and hopes the fine will deter Sunday openings. Stacy Boyer spent Sagday in Parkersberg.

More Water Now Says Supt Bell
