Strickland Addresses Appalachian Ohio Supporters in The Plains

Local officials Kim Wortman and labor leaders blamed funding cuts on the Kasich administration, citing aging waterlines, police gear needs, and stagnant wages. Strickland defended his policy positions, contrasted them with Portman, and shared a story of Jason Snider, Navy football alumnus from McArthur, to illustrate Appalachian opportunity. He urged stronger unions and federal aid to rural health networks and equity in school funding as he continues his Working Families First tour.
