Boundaries and assertiveness for a clingy friend
A reader seeks advice on setting boundaries with a man who wants more than friendship. Abby advises clear no, avoid letting him sleep over, and giving him taxi rides home when drunk. A second reader asks how to relate to a father who treats her as a child. Abby suggests changing reactions, not the father, and finding humor to improve the adult relationship.
