A former Chauncey woman and her husband co author a 1969 1970 church study book Reconciliation in a Broken World by Dr and Mrs Hunter Beckelhymer of Fort Worth Texas The book will be published by Friendship Press NC Cooks and used as mission study material Their backgrounds include Chauncey Dover Ohio University Yale Divinity School and Texas Christian University The couple marks their first joint authorship venture
The Mason County Tuberculosis and Health Association held its quarterly board meeting in the City Building conference room. President Mrs. Lyle L. Austin led with prayer and a thought poem as they reviewed the Christmas Seal Campaign results and planned a special meeting in two weeks to elect officers and form committees for the coming fiscal year. The group urged continued Christmas Seal contributions and thanked donors for aiding Mason County residents.
