Cameron Says Yes There Is Life Out There
Professor A G W Cameron of Yeshiva University told a packed Athens Ohio University audience that life beyond earth is logical and that humans may eventually communicate with alien species. He said signals can travel hundreds of light years and stressed the need for long term readiness and social adjustments. He noted Mars and Venus unlikely hosts for life but Jupiter or Saturn could harbor life related phenomena and cautioned Earth may take 2000 years for a response to signals.
