Universities Can Aid Sageing Ohio Economy
A study by the Ohio Research and Development Foundation says Ohio lags in engineering and science output and in attracting aerospace and electronics work. It warns job losses could climb to 600,000 by 1970 if Ohio fails to expand higher education and R&D facilities and attract new industries. The report urges universities and communities to play a pivotal role in developing the space-age economy.
