Columbus Feb 7. The special senate committee examining the State Workmen's Compensation Fund refused to accept the resignation of its chairman Sen Marvin C Harrison Democrat Cleveland. The panel also declined to subpoena former Governor James M Cox Dayton who had been invited to discuss charges that the fund was robbed of a million dollars by dishonest employers. Cox declined to appear, citing Gov White's request to head a non legislative committee on the charges. He said he may accept that post but has not notified the governor.
