Five Drivers Cited After Area Crashes
Five motorists were cited and one injured in Wednesday accidents investigated by the State Highway Patrol. Damald fee Schultz, 28, Logan Route 1, complained about back and neck pains after a Route 691 crash south of Route 33. Schultz was cited for parking on the roadway. Merry Howson, 22, Nelsonville, cited for failure to stop within assured clear distance as her car was hit by Howson. Frank Lance, 59, Reedsville, cited for stop sign violation after an accident on Route 50 in Coolville. Johnn Robert Gorby, 19, Athens Route 1, cited for conditional speed on Route 56 north of County Rd 1. Phyllis Mary Cremeans, 24, Shade Route 1, cited for conditional speed after an accident on Route 33 south of Athens.
