Students donate items to Timothy House shelter drive

Shifflet eligibility for release debated at Friday hearing

County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn says Shifflet may become eligible around April 2017 for judicial release though not guaranteed. His current release date is March 17, 2018. The case involved multiple young victims with charges of rape and gross sexual imposition. an Alford plea was entered on three counts. The appeals court remanded for re-sentencing while upholding most other arguments.

Details emerge on Nelsonville apartments and Rocky Brands link

McCabe said Woda has done emergency roof and window work to keep water out of the buildings. Stabilization work was completed on the back of the 1907 building. There will be 33 apartments with some space in one building to be used as offices and support for Rocky Brands Inc.
