Point Pleasant OKs Harmon Park site for youth center
Point Pleasant City Council approved an alternate site at Harmon Park on Camden Avenue near Kanawha Street for a youth center to be funded under a federal program. Construction plans include a 128 foot long building with parking, flood prevention earthwork, and supervision by Alex Cruickshank with Mayor Leighty authority to hire additional workers.

Middleport Emergency Squad Responds to Two Calls
The Middleport Emergency Squad was sent to the Daryl Fitzpatrick residence near Cheshire at 10 26 a m Sunday where Thelma Fitzpatrick was treated and released at Veterans Memorial Hospital.
