Service Lines To Be Inspected In Athens Area
Columbia Gas of Ohio will inspect all customer owned natural gas service lines in the Athens area under DOT guidelines. Inspections use detector units from eight pounds, capable of detecting one part of gas in a million parts of air, with no lawn digging. If leaks are found the homeowner must arrange repairs and gas may be turned off until fixed. Inspectors will wear uniforms and show ID on request.
