Prof J P Weethee, aged 87 and two days, long a religious writer and college president, died peacefully at his Mt Auburn home after paralysis and a stroke. He led multiple colleges, influenced regional rail projects, authored The Coming Age and The Eastern Question, and leaves a widow and several children. funeral to be held at his Mt Auburn residence with interment at Nye cemetery.
