Euphemia Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star conducted its annual inspection with deputy grand matron Mrs. Faye Harris presiding. Guests included Bertha Huffman Kathryn Wilson Roberta Mindling and Mar Hughes along with Louise King and several representatives from area towns such as Albany Athens Bartlett Chesterhill Glouster Guysville Nelsonville Stockport Belpre. Music Club Program Is Set Monday
The Athens Music Club meets Monday at 8 p.m. in Galbreath Chapel. Mrs Carl Nessley leads Music of the Fates with demonstrations of worship service music. Mrs Edwin Glick presents Hebrew liturgy while Mrs Sherwood Hall and Mrs Phillip Woodworth cover Episcopal Lutheran and Catholic rites. Joakim Lagurous directs a Greek children's chorus. Mrs Dwight Robinson, president of the Ohio Federation, installs officers with co hostesses Mrs Paul Ferry and Mrs Carl Roberts. The club is affiliated with National and State Federations.

Girl Scout Troop 1389 held an overnight at Camp Rotan with six girls planning an evening program and awarding proficiency badges. Patti Romine, daughter of Mrs. John Romine, received a birthday cake treat. A dance at the Moose Lodge will follow, featuring Around and Square dancing from 9 p.m. to midnight with music by the Star Valley Boys.
